In a mosaic puzzle, also published as fill-a-pix, each number tells you how many cells are shaded in its own 3×3 neighbourhood, itself included. A 9 means the whole block is shaded; a 0 means none of it is. From those two extremes the shading spreads outward and resolves cell by cell. If you have played minesweeper the counting will feel familiar, but a mosaic always resolves by pure logic. Sizes are 6×6, 10×10 and 15×15, each exporting as a printable PDF with the answer key.
