Nine irregular regions in place of the 3×3 boxes

Jigsaw sudoku, also called squiggly or nonomino sudoku, keeps every rule of ordinary sudoku and replaces the nine 3×3 boxes with nine irregular shapes. Rows and columns still need 1 to 9 once each, and so does every jigsaw region. The irregular shapes change how the logic flows: regions stretch across three or four rows, so the scanning patterns you learned on a normal grid stop working and new ones take over. Choose a difficulty, generate, and print a PDF with the answer key.

Why use Puzzone

Irregular Regions Every Time

A new region layout is generated with each puzzle, so no two look alike and the solving path is always different.

Same Rules, New Logic

If you can solve sudoku you can solve this. The scanning changes, the rules do not — it is the cheapest way to make sudoku feel new.

Verified Single Solution

Region shapes and given digits are checked together so each puzzle resolves by logic to exactly one grid.

Print-Ready PDF

Clean black-and-white region borders that stay legible on a home printer, with the solution on its own page.
