Free Printable Nonograms

Nonograms, also called picross or griddlers, hide a picture behind the numbers along each row and column. Those numbers give the runs of filled cells in order, and working out which cells they force reveals the image. Ten puzzles per pack across three sizes, each with a single solution, and the finished pictures at the back.

Questions

How do nonogram clues work?

Each number is a run of consecutive filled cells, in order, with at least one blank between runs. A row clue of 4 2 means four filled, a gap, then two filled.

Do they resolve without guessing?

Yes. Every puzzle is generated with a single solution reachable by logic.

What is the best starting move?

The longest clues. In a 15-wide row a run of 12 overlaps itself whichever way it sits, so the middle cells are certain.

Are solutions included?

Yes, the completed picture for each puzzle is at the back.
