Kakuro is a crossword built from sums: each run of white cells must add to the number in its clue, using the digits 1 to 9 without repeating one inside a run. Ten puzzles per pack in three sizes, each verified to have a single solution, with the completed grids at the back.

What are the rules of kakuro?

Fill the white cells with digits 1 to 9 so every run adds up to its clue. A digit may not repeat within a single run, though it can appear elsewhere in the row.

Do I need to be good at maths?

Only addition to 45. The puzzle is about which combination of distinct digits makes the total, not arithmetic speed.

Are answer keys included?

Yes, at the back of each pack.

Where do I start?

With the constrained sums — a two-cell run totalling 3 can only be 1 and 2, and a two-cell run totalling 17 can only be 8 and 9.
